Many souls have walked Deadman's Hill
The living never return sane
The dead come alive, at first scent
Of unfamiliar energy...
Some have awakened on Deadman's Hill
With mysterious illnesses and pain
That have yet to be explained
Still more have returned in a trance-like state
Muttering, "You earth-walkers have naught to gain!"...
For years the hill was closed to the public
But the original survivors kept turning up dead
In bloody pieces, with strange writings
Carved into their heads
Still, seekers kept coming, looking for a thrill
And local police kept turning up gruesome remains
With unearthly stench, emanating
From Deadman's Hill....
The curse is said to give life to the dead
So when you see someone with strange writing
Carved into their heads
You may not want to follow ~ for you know
They're on their way to Deadman's Hill
To feed and cling to life again
When the energy of the soul, begins to ebb & flow
It's no longer the thrill driving them on
It's the battle between life and death
And the desire to be free of their sins....
They know returning to feel alive once again
They will never be alone
Invigorated by its energy and leaving behind
All that hinders or loves
That when they reach the top of Deadman's Hill
Death will never reach them
And the writing carved into their heads
Will forever remain misunderstood
But when properly interpreted reads
"DEAD YOU WILL NEVER BE"
Forever alive and Forever free
To watch the innocent
Bleed.....
