Cycle of knowledge

Cycle of knowledge

Little children are so innocent
they are just too young to know
what kind of world we really live in
that’s why we have to shield them so

We need to nuture and protect
them
Keep them safe from perils way
Guide them in the right direction
whislt encouraging them to laugh and play

Our world is capable of coldness
not every child will meet this fate
Yet there will be some who feel this daily
within the walls of their garden gate

Our little ones will grow into adults
they will mimic what has gone before
Teaching their children what we taught them
and so this cycle repeats once more
