Cycle of seasons

April fools are signs of spring
The early birds do start to sing
The farmers dogs they round the sheep
Lambs are born they jump & leap

The days are long, the sun is high
The clouds have gone from in the sky
Summer is here, we feel its heat
We all wear sandals on our feet

Snug as a bug we cozy up coz now its autumns turn
We collect the logs to light the fire & love to watch it burn
Rockets are lit, they bang & zoom
We light the sparklers in the room

December is here we shop & spend
We write the cards that we will send
Its Xmas time, that time of year
With festive food & yuletide cheer
New years eve with parties galore
The first foot knocks upon your door 

These seasons change they come & go
Its the circle of life & what we know ???☃️
