Dad

Wow it's come back they said he was fine,
He's not their's to take I've got him back he's mine,
It was me who found him he can't go now,
They've gotta fix this someway some how,
I'm going to be selfish I've tried to hard,
I didn't give up when I received no card,
It can't be true it can't take him from me,
It's true that friends is all we could ever be,
But he's my blood and I suppose my father,
Can't they take me if they would rather, 
Because I'm not strong enough to lose another family member,
And I don't have many memories of him I can remember.
