Daddy

Have you ever lost a parent before ?
The center of your world , your  superhero in real life ?
in 2004 CANCER plagued my family
The doctor told us 6 months and my dad left in 3.
He was a strong man but beating cancer he couldn't win.
I saw things that happen in your worst horror scene.  I saw my dad dying in front of me literally.  He went front singing to writing notes. He couldn't even say he loved us because the disease was in his throat. I saw his body go from strong and tall to a man I hadn't known at all. When he lost his voice so did I but just like him I use a pen to say what's on my mind. Blood baths ,surgeries and struggling to breathe. I wanted you to stay but you had to leave . I rather you die and be pain free  As much as our family needed you , God needed you more.  One day I'll see you again, my one and only daddy
