Poem -

daddy’s little girl

I have so many regrets
things I should have said,
I had so many questions,
but I walked away instead,
I bottled up my feelings,
 and kept them all inside,
 but when I said I love u,
I never ever lied,
I should have told u how proud I was,
 to be your little girl,
but since your in my heart now,
I don’t have to say I word,
except thank you so much daddy,
for always being there,
I wish that I was there for u,
this hardly seems fair,
I know that you loved me daddy,
you told me all the time,
and I knew in my heart as well,
that u never ever lied,
your departure has been so hurtful,
its put my mind in a whirl,
what keeps me going is always knowing?
I’m daddy’s little girl.
