Daffodils and Tulips

Daffodils and Tulips

Oh, how I long for the whitenessĀ
of a cold room
how I wish not to see the daffodilsĀ
of warm yellow sun
and how I prefer not to seeĀ
the tulips of April's spring
Ā
silence in eyes and earsĀ
is how I long to beĀ
Ā
no thoughts, no anger, just me
Ā
upon my reflections
of one peaceful moment
Ā
oh, how I do wish
I could simply lose
the colours from within...
Ā
just to be me, even for a single breath.
