Damsel in Distress

Damsel in Distress

A damsel in distress,
Wearing her red dress,
Walking blindly in a field,
With no direction to yield.

Wandering all alone,
She cried to go home,
Blaming others for her loss,
She now paying a great cost.

A blindfold on her eyes,
She anxiously would cry,
For someone just to hear,
Yet no one she would fear.

Just then she would pray,
For then her God saved,
With light shining down,
And hope would be found.
