DANCES

Do you see the blue horses
run free on loves wind
Where their shadows race sea
clouds of candy curl sin
Do you see how the beauty
obscures the rain
Softening the sting and the
ache of the pain

Do you hear the green ocean
sing angels of hush
Rolling and ebbing in
comforts of lush
Do you know of the stars that
shine hope on dark sands
And whisper a promise of lost
ancient lands

And see you a soul who begs
mercy from all
Who prays for a new dance
away from life's squall
But see how her footprints are
slaves to dance time
So she twirls to the rythyms
within her own mind
Do you see?
