Dancing in the Stairwell

As we stride side by side
Time after time again
Taking two steps forward
Putting our hand in hand
One foot before another
My arm down under
Beneath your shoulder
Your lips slightly below mine
As your head lays
Upon my shoulder

And as we came to the altar
Our hearts danced in the stairwell
As our eyes climbed the stairs
Adjoining one another
Sharing interest in our feelings
As our lips wondered 
Across the melting miles
To find great comfort
In our togetherness in love..
