Dancing with the dark

That first dance with him,
touching the flames of his dark body,
holding that piece of hell and heaven on your tongue,
While we expanded our minds
in a different way
While we laughed with the feeling,
then you got up and you yourself asked him for
Another Dance.
Spinning, drowning with ecstasy,
Lost.
Sanity is a hard line to find,
Getting lost inside memories,
Lost in the past...
Getting stuck in the feeling of enlightenment!
The Highest of Highs like physically drinking golden mania.
That night when we danced with the dark.
He offered you another, which I gladly took
And unknowing of the consequences,
To seven months bad luck when you break
A mirror,
Nothing is perfect-
Shattered piece of your reflection dance to the floor,
Casting shadows as they are suspended in
Air,
Fire flowing through your unhinged roof.
A house on fire.
And it feels just like that night he asked you to dance.
Would you do it again?

A magnificent cavalcade of images and ideas; a beautiful achievement.
This is an act of pure poetry.
