Dark Beacon
How can I think
White when the
World is so filthy
When from the pages
Of my book out pour
Darkness
How can I or anyone
Be pure as long
As desire exists
We're filthy
Intelligent but guilty
Try as you might
But in the end
You'll find that
Your desires and only
Yours alone come first
This world is sick
Take as many baths
As you want
The dirt always returns
Doesn't it?
But I'm fine
I'll use this blackness
To drag my kin
Out of hell
It's always been
My curious beacon

Awesome ONLOOKER!!..........there are so many great things I could say about this piece........but it would all be redundant..........your skills are consistently reaching for excellence.........and your choices for subject matter are always compelling...........this is an excellent read bro!!..........well done............T xo
Well, I guess we're in the same boat because I could thank you a thousand more timed but that would be redundant as well, your comments are swift to humble and improve my poem in their own way
Thanks, CO
Curious, great write man...the lenses you look through are so unique and interesting to read, yeah I really like this poem a whole lot; cool and profound; I suspect a lot like you....cheers
Thank you very much my friend, these lenses are what keeps these writes alive, much love and respect

I could kill for a poem like this and
I'm not the violent type but the type who
Loves a poem with grunt and for me
this poem has the right stuff; keep
kicking that dirt around and maybe
Someone will listen - love this curious
My fav for the year!
