Dark days

Dark days

One day I'm smiling
The next day I frown
Why does life always bring me down?
Cold as metal, it touches my heart
Losing hope is ending life's start
Your young and free
Life should be full of beauty
But we can change
Begin to feel guilty

Being who you are is just a myth
Even dark days jump off a cliff
Alone and afraid
Never feeling saved
But keep going on
You can be brave
Figures crawl, but you can't see
Your too hung up, when you self-grieve

Carrying a coffin, there was a lot of blood
The hospital said you held a grudge
You fought against them
You never wanted this
But the tears came
And gone, was the bliss

Pain never helped you gain
You just gave it away, to your loved ones
They were lost...
knowing that you didn't die in vain
But listen, sweet child
Don't do what I did
For the dark days helped me with this.
