Poem -
" DARK STREET VAMPIRE'S "
Inside, and above the fray of blood and gore
The vampires licked through the wounds
Like strangely mechanical ugliness
Wrapped in evil grotesqueness
Of dying innocents
Who lay knocking
As their blood drained away
With their very last words
And to the vampiric minds
They were the phantom lovers
Lovers of blood
From its source of life-giving
Sustenance
Where loitering gracefully
Down moonlit streets
They had found a refuge
There
Amidst the bloodied
Shadows
And the pulsing veins
Throbbing, ever so invitingly
On the necks of
Unsuspecting
Strangers...
