Dark to Dawn
By Magic Bellmore, Queen of Chaos
Inky silk sky,
Twinkling fairy lights shimmering above,
Glowing sliver orb suspended by the breeze,
Colour seeping from it all as dawn starts to emerge.
Barren grey sky,
Molten Iron waves,
A gentle blush creeps into the sky,
Illuminating forests, oceans and tundra's below,
Shimmering golds and blues and purples creep up beside the roses.
Warmth creeps in and surrounds the earth,
Slowly giving life back from the miserable greys,
Light crawls up to join its sister in harmony amongst the earth
From Midnight blues to predawn greys all down to the vibrant colours of the smiling dawn.

A truly compelling.....look from above....as though your perspective were that of an astronauts point of view.......when we remove ourselves from earth bound perspectives......the "World View" opens up to us.....but in doing so we must maintain the poetic integrity of that POV......you've done an elegant job of it here.......well done......look forward to more!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo : )
Ps. I tried to leave you 5 stars but it wasn't working properly! : (
You've captured so well the beauty of the sky. It is not just blue or grey or black... There are so many colours and each sunset and sunrise are different. A lovely, lovely write x
Thanks, I wrote it watching the sun rise but then I forgot about it until yesterday!
