Darkest Hour

Darkness, is all I see,

nobody around to help me.

What should I do,

with no help from you.

You left me here all alone,

if I only had a backbone.

Shadows and noises I can hear,

oh how I wish you were near.

Isolated in my room,

you think I’m fine so you assume.

Unable to lift myself up,

to see my blood drip in the cup.

Pain and sorrow in my veins,

Should I should I blow out my brains.

Racing thoughts going thru my head,

I think I’d be better off dead.

You don’t care and neither do I,

my only wish is to die.

The time has come for me to say,

Bow your head and let us pray.

…Now I lay me down to sleep….
