From darkness to light

I woke up one day
Out of a dream that opened my eyes
I feel like I'm not all there
There's still a boy wandering
He's lost
Tried to find his way back
But too many obstacles in his way
He became weak
Then he walked into a great darkness
He fell catching his last breath
He thought he was dying, he was
Until some mysterious person came
They guided him to lightness
He was home
He knew he had fulfilled his journey
I know because this lost boy was me.
