Poem -

darkness of night

i wonder alone in the darkness of night
afraid of what waiting for me
creaking tree.s and howling wind.s
afraid i must agree.

across my path a fox did run
my heart fell to the ground
the darkness of night is playing a game
so dark i cant look around .

into the forest i travel deeper
my courage has long gone
fear now is hanging from my  face
but i must solder on

how long must i wait
in this forest  all alone
need to leave this howling wood
and get myself  back home
