Darkness Reveals
Sometimes
And it's sad
But sometimes
It takes the darkness to reveal the lights
Those stars that shone bright in our former days
But we didn't realise from all our haze
Those who we long for as our memories sharpen their focus
As we start to recognise we're drowning
In a flood of darkness
