Poem -

Daughter

My eyes look at me,

strength and spirit I see,
an innocent face,

A sly cheeky grin.

tiny arms surround,
spreading all of her warmth,

sound of her heart,
is all that's around.

the toughest men cry,

when she holdeth your hand,

Dare you say no,
and be such a man,

eyes look at you,
and then meltath  your heart.

She sees you as great,

So that's what you'll be,

A saviour is born,

a purpose is set,

lessons be learnt,

each side idle of the fence,
