Poem -
Dawn
Where on earth do we go from here ?
The destruction of man, so near
Take time to see what we have done
Created the power of the sun
Turning people into dust
So in politicians we must trust
That they don't use these weapons of dread
Or in a panic, lose their head
Why don't some see the beauty of our world ?
See the wondrous dawn unfold
Peace and love is what we crave
We teach our children to behave
Not kill or maim or hurt others
Let's all realize we are brothers
And follow scriptures in the name of good
And understand that we should
Not be interested in power or greed
But in the poor, and how to feed
So many that suffer starvation
Let Gods word be our salvation !
