DAYS GONE BY

The past
days gone by, I think back to my childhood
it was a wonderful time in my life
I remember my grandparents, cousins, parents,
such wonderful memories
family gatherings celebrating the holidays together
I will always cherish forever days gone by.

I love how this ended like the start, with those precious words “days gone by” it really helped bring the poetic charm into this attentive write. For our memories from such days gone by, are so very precious. As is this poem x
