Poem -

Days Like These

Oh silent house
How mocking you've become
A friend once, how you welcomed me
With life and love and fun

These days
You turn your back
A brooding thing, and dark
Where ever rain speaks to the
window panes
In blurs and deathly rasps

And I, I've come to know you well
In these days of ours,
Spent longĀ
And I, I've come to like
My host
Just I, you and our multitudes
Of loved and precious
Ghosts

Being Me

Houses become homes become tormentors...at least that is what I found once. I am sure walls get imprinted by people's livesĀ  ..perhaps all houses are haunted x

I think you are right Tina, even now I can go somewhere and be unable to tell you the colour of the walls because it is the atmosphere of a place isn't it? Thankyou my friend xx

Being Me

Yes, buildings absolutely do have atmospheres! I used to do viewings for Purple Bricks. Some places had a really lovely feel and there were some that felt unhappy. One I went to was pure evil I swear! And the interesting thing was, was that it had nothing to do with the decor. I had to show a young couple a house we had just come onto our books. It was very,Ā  very outdated in decor. It needed a bit of work and the owner had died so his family were selling but that being said omg did it have a happy feel. You could feel it everywhere ...happiness and warmth. I mentioned it to the couple and their mothers both said they agreed. Sold the house there and then! One was so evil I felt the walls closing in and the floor seemed to move beneath my feet. It got worse and worse with each visit. Houses!!

Jesus, I absolutely do know what you are talking about though. When I was married we would walk in the woods and about an hour and half in there was a field...like a corn field would look...waist high yellow grasses with a ruined cottage. I could not walk in there, I had a mini panic attack it felt so evil Tina, also I had dreamt at some point in my life the view from exactly where to window was...I had been looking out at cows. So real and so vivid...this life is very strange xx
