Poem -

Dead?

In the absence of love - I am dead

And  I can't get the worms out my head

Which means I cant even sleep in my bed

But my eyes are as heavy as lead

Or maybe heavier instead

And both of my ears have shed

So I couldn't even hear what you said

if I did - would my blood still run red?

And those words that you read,

Couldn't make you see how I pled

And if you had realized how I bled

Maybe I wouldn't feel so - Dead?
