Dead Man Talking

Dead Man Talking

Am I going to heaven or hell ?

I really find it hard to tell

I have always tried to be good

Do what a decent person should

But there have been times

When I have committed crimes

Against my fellow man

Following the Devils plan

Now I seek forgiveness from all

Before I receive the call

To leave this cell of mine

And to the gallows I will climb

Knowing that judgement awaits

At the opening of Heavens Gates

Here I will finally know

Where I am supposed to go

Whether I have saved my soul

Which is my ultimate goal

Or condemned my spirit to eternal pain

All in Satans name

My final words as a mortal man

Is for all to do what they can

To avoid this path I have taken

Which leaves me so forsaken

And when it is time for me to die

I will not break down and cry

Each must choose, what are their needs

And I must pay for my deeds

Well you know Richard...some dead men will have an opportunity to redeem themselves...I am thinking of the murderer who was crucified with the Messiah.   Othera will twist and turn in the fires of a hellish existence forever.  Well done!  val
