Dead mind

Dead mind

The touch of your blade engraved on my skin
as we tango to the rhythm of my
genuine damned being-
twirling with the distraction of my desires which
I could never truly embrace
serenity and clarity grazing it’s fingers
all over my aching flesh
grief poured out in a flood painting
the gates of my grave

Dead mind - Ridwan

Wow what a poem Ridwan! Fantastic work. I especially enjoyed the structure. How each line leads to the next. Makes for super engaging poetry. Welcome to the Comos! I hope you enjoy it here.

Love the poem, deep, dark and gritty. The sketch makes me think of Tim Burton, absolutely brilliant ink. Welcome to the Cosmo :)
