Dear city

Dear city
Crime, business, tick-tock
Will find no pity
Hard as rock

Dear country
People, money, wars
Culture as rich as honey
So many opportunities and doors

Dear Earth
Pollution, blood, death
Is there such a thing as rebirth?
Men and women forbidden of breath

Dear Universe
Empty, dark, cold
You were the first
Gravity is the hold

What is out there?
No one knows
Life isn't fair
Be nice, be a friend
Roll the dice, decide the end

George…this is a very insightful write.  Love the way you expand the circumference of reach …from city, to country to earth to universe… to man where you firmly set the responsibility "be nice, be a friend, roll the dice decide the end".   Excellent!!!
