Wow Nardine, love the construction of the write, the changing points of view...you're a creative poet with deep thoughts galore, the reader felt the conflicting emotions and was moved, this one gave out many messages, and I love that in a poem; the notion of embracing misery is interesting concept to embrace, but with further thought, yes this is real...this is a very sophisticated write dear sister from down under, I'm reading it again...there's lots to chew on here, terrific job, keep on keeping on...cheers

Cherie, when we are alone with no one, we can be most miserable, then along comes love, which makes us happy removing misery, and when love is absent and you miss them so much, you become miserable again
so at first we have a bond with misery, then we break it, only to have it return at some point within our life, being away from your love is definitely a miserable moment or two.
