Poem -

Dear Mother

Dear mother, beloved, it’s been so long; your unconditional love which I belonged.

I didn’t listen I was wrong following my desires most of my life,

In your presence I did what’s right. You taught me to rise when I fall to the ground.

Mom you’re gone now physically not spiritually.

You’ve taught me all God wanted you to, the life I live is dedicated to you.

Dear mother, provider, instructor, and friend why should I grieve like this is the end. Why did you leave before you had to, God I hope you were doing what you had to.

Again, I dedicate my life to you, I’m more than glad to.

You stuck around when times got tough you moved us when our dad got rough,

So called father though it was you who did enough

Dear mother I know you rest in peace

although I rather you lived with me, along with better conditions;

 no suffering and no sickness.

I just want to witness the relief from the pain, bringing a smile to your face again.

Jennifer such a sad write, but a wonderful tribute!  Mums truly are the best in every way, no matter where they are, always in our hearts.  A lovely write Jennifer and a vote from me :)
