Dear Old Friend

In with the new out with old

Dear Old Friend

It’s time to let you go , and flourish in the light you feel destined too
For I once tried to lead you on a path
God didn’t have planned for you.

You may feel powerful but you are powerless
You may feel strong but you are weak
You are lost in society
And a mess , with no humanity.

Every sip you take of the % drink
And every inhale you take from your spliff
Is your false escapism,
But you find it hard to come in terms to reality,

You run from home but fall in the arms
Of in your eyes a “hero “
But yet this hero has drained your fat off your not so innocent body , and have you questioning  your loyalty .

Dear old friend for we have had great memories.
But your bad has out weighed them, the energy you have for someone who cares it’s not the same as them.

For you I have left I hope you follow whatever you believe
I no longer need the burden your stories give and I receive.
For we are soon young adults;
I hope to walk or drive past you on road
And see you fully accomplished
On the road you have chose
