~Dearest Love~

Once there was a woman, 'Angel' like to be,
whom I loved so very much;
This 'shinning light' so bright,
she was very dear to me;

I'd travel as far as the future,
and would give my life to love her;
I just hoped and prayed that her feelings were the same as me;
and one terrible day my heart had told,
that her love was falling far from thee;

Her words of little had burned my feelings like a raging inferno,
why-oh-why are my thoughts as I write this and cry;
As my only love you could always come too me,
instead she chose to end our love by
killing me with words in some secret death journal;

So to you my dear it my sound like a lie,
that my love is for you and is forever, until I grow as old as time;

It is getting very dark now and my eyes are a blur,
i see my soul going onward as I take a breath and sigh;
I can hear the voices coming to take me,
and so it is time that i say, and i say without a lie;

As you fade from my eye sight i scream "Damb-It, This Is Not Right",
and feeling the life draining from me as I find it hard to say goodbye;
Though dead of sight i know i'm not alone, my final life wish I pray,
is just to have you with me standing bedside kissing my forehead,
and be holding my hand as I die.

I feel it's time to fade from this life and
hoping my wish comes true,
Just in case it doesn't, i must say before I go,
Speaking in a whisper with only a breath I drew,
i wanted my last and final words to be.....

"My Dearest Sweetheart, I Love You."
