Death Through Yellow Eyes
Through those Yellow Auburn eyes,
A sun is dead and a new day never to dawn.
You strike with terror in the ground,
Yet the ground falls beneath you.
Brave and courageous,
You step toward the fiery death that will consume you.
This world no more,
Shall fall toward nothing and eventually oblivion.
The death itself may rise,
And will stumble upon this Earth for eternities.
A virus so deadly to turn your coat,
From pure moonlight to bloody scarlet.
A sacrifice to your ancestors,
For they will not protect you,
As their murdered bones lie in their graves.

Thank you so much!
This is so dark, artistic, and matter of fact. I admire your sentence structure, and your inner voice resonates in this prose/poem. And the tone and content are captivating. well done!
