Poem -

Deathly Autumn

Your eyes have dimmed,

The life faded away,

Slipped through your fingers,

No matter how much you want it to stay.

A tumbling mass of white light,

Glaring in the abyss,

Set's a chatter in evil's teeth,

A wreath weaved of the devil's cancerous kiss.

The wreath hangs on your door,

You're chasing it away as it's strung along,

The door to blur with the whisper of a word,

It may fade away like a bird's song.

You only have faith without belief,

Your wreath unweaves,

The bell's last toll,

You're raked away in Heaven's last leaves.
