Deceased For A Decade

Dedicated to Charles F. Johnson (1947-2013) who died ten years ago today on July 13, 2013

Deceased For A Decade

He was my dad but his life came to an end.
He died and I would never see him again.
He perished after months of receiving chemotherapy.
He had Leukemia and is buried in Sneedville, Tennessee.
He was a hard worker and he worked hard for many years.
Cancer made him become ill and he died just like I feared.
He died ten years ago today on the 13th of July.
It is always sad and tragic when a parent dies.

Hello Randy...

My parents were firm believers that children shouldn't die before the parents they looked at me a lot when they would say it...

When it came to me they always thought if they were going to lose a child it wouldΒ  be me...

After my oldest brother the first born passed away my parents were never the same and they died 14 years later 2 months apart...

I told them I was sorry it wasn't me...

I know that him dying first was never in their head...

Yes it's sad indeed!

I'm sorry for all your loss...

I know it sucks!

Thank you for sharing the tribute...
