DECEMBER APPROACHING

It is almost the last month of the year once more 
Hard it has certainly been and difficult to ignore
Who could foresee how the world would be
So much has happened as you put up the tree

No one could predict you would a wear a mask
Shopping for food would prove a difficult task 
Non essential places would have to shut 
Staying indoors staying safe and staying put

This virus has certainly destroyed our daily life
Took hold of every child, husband and wife
It won't take a break because Christmas is here 
Going to get worse before getting better I fear

Look to the future be positive in what you do 
Forget 2020 existed would be my advice to you
Family and friends will see you pull through 
Let's all put this virus to the back of the queue
