DECEMBER BRIDE

It seems like only yesterday 
when you dangled on my knee, 
​​​​​​now a staid and dignified lady, 
but you will always be our 'little baby '
who brings so much youthful gladness 
to your friends and family 
through all the years of your life 
so, that would make you 
a zesty mother and a radiant wife. 

Remember that marriage can be nerve-racking, 
you're not designed to each other, 
you won't click with each other like a lego.
It's a patchwork of pleasure and pain 
give your all because there is so much to gain. 

Marriage is more than just 
a wedding on Facebook or Instagram,

Marriage is about love,  joy,  laughter, caring,  sacrificing,  forgiving,  respecting, 
listening to each other 
and don't keep secrets from one another.

seek the Lord with all your hearts 
Don't let toxic people put a wedge 
between the two of you -
the two of you - become one -

Write your own script, 
sing your own song 
dance,  a dance of your own 
knit the thread that 
will bind you together,

and beautiful journey.
