DECEMBER MIST -FEMININE DIVINE
Poem By Williamsji Maveli

DECEMBER MIST
This cold, soft vapor, shrouding field and town,
Is not the sea's breath, nor the mountain's sigh,
But Mother Goddess, looking gently down,
A liquid empathy within the sky.
Each heavy droplet, hanging still and low,
A misty drop that comes from Her own eye,
Not grief, but Karunaāthe gentle flow
Of compassion for the worlds that lie.
She is the wellspring, ancient and profound,
And every pearl that settles on the thorn
Is sacred essence touching hallowed ground,
A silent blessing for the day new-born.
The veil She weaves is one of quiet power,
To cleanse the soul, to soften every line;
The December chill holds wisdom in its shower,
The sweet, soft tears of the Feminine Divine.
