Decisions in life

     This "thing" they call "love", is so hard for me to understand.

We say it, so freely, myself meaning each word , and tall is how I stand.

Proud of my feeling, finally after all these years...

Of scars, memories, smiles and even fears...

For he LOVED me, imperfections and flaws, 

And it's truly a blessing to be loved for who you are today, 

i think I choose to lay awake and count the stars....

And make that wish, purely out of that "thing" called "love"

Close my eyes, and smile, and wait for that "oh so gentle touch", listening to each passing car. 

Just lay back and dream of him, HIM, that guy, the one I love.
