DEDICATED TO A FRIEND
She was willing to give her heart...
She thought he loved her...
He proposed to her to be his for life...
With the ring he proudly gave...
She wanted to believe that he was speaking truth...
Only turned to be a game she never wanted to play...
She thought he was different...
She thought they had a chance...
She would have said said yes to a lifetime romance...
Did he know he broke her heart?
Did he give it a second thought?Â
She thought he was different...
She thought they had a chance...
One thing she came to know...
She had to let him go...

It hurts to see any of my friends sad...
It breaks my heart when they cry...
I want them happy...
The best we can hope for is that they both realize that as long as they hold on to hurts and they can't forgive...
They have put up their own road blocks...
