Deep End.

I am swimming in deep waters.
Keeping my head above the waves.
Surviving is all that matters.
For life my soul craves.
For me everyday a danger.
There is always a round the corner i must walk.
To me everyone a stranger.
To me they don't want to talk.
I do not wear a life jacket.
So in life anytime i could drown.
At birth survival into my veins injected.
So depression does never get me down.
I am swimming in deep waters.
But my nerves intact and not in tatters.
Survival is all that matters.
In a life that hurts and batters.
