Poem -

Defeated

There's a ring and some lights.

I step in to fight.

In the next corner stands my contender.

Strong, powerful unknown offender.

I'm armed with only my Bible and cross.

This opponent must be an inhuman boss.

Every move i make he makes two more.

I fight harder and suddenly hit the floor.

He stands over me with pride and confidence.

He says to me, "give up, you have no defense."

Just as the countdown begins, I open my Bible and he begins to cringe.

As I quote mighty scriptures and recite holy psalms, he drops to his knees with his face in his palms.

I then knew I had beat it.

It was then I knew it was the devil I had defeated.
