" DEITY "
To EVERYONE there's a deity
That's neither strange, nor odd
To some it's greed, power, or money
To others, omnipotent God
If you were to conclude
Through long contemplation
Or varied statistics
You'd find that power, money, and God
Share some of the same characteristics
Like, if certain ramifications
Were taken into consideration
And certain obligations were implied
Then, would it not be expected
For one's choices to be respected
And one's basic rights be protected
From the lies, alibi's
And political ties?...
Now, it may be going a bit too far
But I think it should be said,
One cannot prove that God is living
And, one cannot prove that God never was...
So,
Is man a fabrication
Of God's imagination,
Or,
Is God a fabrication
Of man?...

Hey t I had a vision of when I was saved when I was 8 and I remember the streets of heaven to this very day . I am used to controversy with my friend at work but at the end of day he knows how I believe and I don't scream and yell to get my point across either . He tries to talk over me with big words that I know in my brain but I just accept one day God will open his eyes to,the real thing . Very thought provoking write. Cheers rockĀ

Hi T! Superb write, touching on some basic human traits, and I love the questions at the end! I have had periods where I wondered the same things, so universal in it's audience! Although I have often wondered about those who don't ask these kind of questions, are they living in reality, or are they hopelessly deluded? A little judgement on my part, I was raised that questioning was a good exercise, and that questions helped a person learn! Thank you for posting, always thought provoking, your writes! xoxo Susan
