Demon Lust
You asked it in
Desperate need
........coldness clings upon warming skin
...putting ever ounce of faith to believe,
Watching darknesse's shadows
Dance silently
...Around the pitch black room
..........Transpiring fear required to groom,
Dwelling years it settles in
Think none on it, as a sin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~Ask for it no more,
~~~~~Tempting, but no more!
Afraid of possessive hands
Not thou own
To take action
When thee can throw it a bone,
~~~~~~~~~~~~Pray love's light
~~~~~Can rid these nights of this
Unspeakable movements
Cannot resist,
Curse your hell
~~~~~~~~~~~~And the fool's words
~~~~~You rode in on
No longer hidden within depths
Of a brilliant soul.
-----Ask thee now,
The only asking...is for love.

Awesome stuff Devon ............Poe would be proud...Format is sooooo great liked the flow!!!!
Wow Mark what a comment. I would be honored to have made Poe proud but yet I'll never know. Appreciate the kind words brother.
Hey D!!.........cool photo man.........I may be wrong here........but I got the feeling that this was about being possessed by a demon soul that makes you things..........things that you would not ordinarily have done but somehow enjoyed the "doing of it".............the tempting side of the darkness ~ so to speak.........compelling stuff brother!!.............later tater (smiles)............peace.........T xo
Hypothetically but not personally T, yes this is the basis of the write you saw into that one man, but there is underlying meaning of commitment to love and light and shedding regrets and sin to walk a different path. The pic stared right through me when I happened on to it I thought definitely would be a creepy visual for this poem. Thanks brother always a pleasure to seeyour encouraging comments. Love and peace.
Hey Devon wow . You painted a awesome write on this one . Your picture and your words transfixed me to that place . I love the dark writes and this is a great one .hugs to you bro. RockÂ
What is up Rock! You know being a good person these writes just seem to balance me I don't know why and demons and darkness fascinate me in an informal way. Could be my imagination just goes crazy for the unknown supernatural. Awesome to hear you enjoyed this and I saw in a comment you seem to be a Stephen King fan, he is my favorite author I draw a lot of inspiration from that man's words. Ttyl man. Peace.
