Demons

Demons

Some demons hide
Under the bed
Not my demons
They hide inside my head

They bite and they claw
They scratch and they bite
They know damn well
I can't put up a fight

These demons are ugly
They're tricky and mean
They're the scariest
That I've ever seen

Even though
I try to fight
They try and convince me
That everything's alright

When they speak
I try not to hear
But it's hard not to listen
For they feed off my fear

The demons all tell me
That nobody cares
I can never escape
Their evil glares

After a while
I start to believe
What these demons are saying
And trying to achieve

I like the demons now
I fear them no more
For the demons are right
What they said, I can't ignore

Halo Pain

I love it, i feel ending is abrupt and surprising, which added to the deepness of the darkness. Great writing.
