Demonstration Of Hope
What we seek from being together this day
Is truth, understanding and a better way
Gathering in a street to make our voices heard
The authorities treat our unity as absurd
But we all believe everything can change
It is time to deal with priorities and exchange
The politics of greed, hate and selfishness
For hope and love, ending all that is worthless
All we want is to have a future that is fair
Not seeing millions living in poverty and despair.
