depression is not a friend
true feelings
striving to surface
vulnerable heart
crying inside
clever mind
scheming a combat
a wave of emotions
masked with smile
so, the world sees you
unbroken
seamless
strong and intact
the voices inside crudely echo
it will be alright
the world is too engaged
to take any note
