Descent from the Age of Reason

Are we in the Age of reason?

Why is mans cruelty so true?

Terror part of everyday life,

It's like the Reformation and Enlightenment were false,

Sometimes I think all is lost,

Today no different from the Dark Ages,

But truly at what cost.
