Poem -

Desire

I once fell for a man much older than me
with brown eyes that pierced the soul
a gleam in them and a face unlike any other
When he looked at me I felt an instant rush, my heart pounded out of my chest
He was so wise beyond his years, though he had lived for quite a while
an accomplished doctor
Arrogant at times, an attractive kind of arrogance
Stubborn and strong willed, he knew what he wanted in life
He was my heart and soul
A delicious British accent, when he whispered in my ear I felt safe
Perfection in every form
My baby
