Desperate soul

I am yarning for salvation
I am yarning for release
I am praying for some comfort
Please Lord,set my spirit free.
Dusty roads and lone some hours
A broken heart and shattered dreams
Days have come and days are gone
Here I am I’ve lost it all
Yes lord,I have lost it all
Desperate soul oh desperate soul
Why did it have to come to this at all
Desperate soul oh desperate soul
It looks like there is no hope at all.
Misty eyes and tears keep falling
A broken home and children calling
And a wife who left me cold and scorning
Yes my lord I’ve lost it all
Desperate soul oh desperate soul
Too much pain, too much pain to bear it all.
Gun in hand and fingers trembling
Just one shot and I’ll end it all
Father please forgive me
For I am weak and lost it all
Desperate soul oh desperate soul
Why did it have to come to this at all.
Desperate soul oh desperate soul
Now you are not bound at all.
Smoke around a lifeless body
And a single note to tell the story
Of one desperate soul who lost his glory
And it’s sad so sad to tell this story
For there’s no one that will understand that he is sorry.
Desperate soul oh desperate soul
Now you are not bound at all.

Greetings Mr. Pakalok's and family,
Â
Thank you for the kind remarks you delivered and the poem was very, very touching and I, (as well as many others), can understand the pain you and yours are enduring, in times such as what you are facing now sir, although I am hoping and praying, that the poem, does not speak the heart and mind set, of the deliverer, (the gun). You have so much to live for and remember it can't and will not rain forever. It’s the little that we do have that we need to thank god for and that which we don't have, he will provide all in due time. You, (I am sure), have come too far and for a man to endure all that you have and still is unfortunately having to sacrifice, believe it are not makes you stronger. Even if it feels as though it's draining you of all your life essence to continue on. Your family, Shirley P., I and many others from this site believe in you, just as you continue to believe in yourself. It takes a special person to place everyone and everything before them which they feel is most important in their lives.

Sincerely,
Jim A.

Dear Edward,
The only way to become man of values, is to sacrifice some success for it.
