Diabetes

Diabetes

Diabetes is invisible
People sometimes think we're drunk
But it's not a drink that's done it
The blood sugars
Taken a dunk

And if the sugar rises
Like a volcano
About to blow
The slightest thing annoys us
And in a temper we will go

Then we get so tired
There's just no energy left
This disease that destroys us
Leaves us feeling so bereft
